Our Story - Brendan & Li

Li enrolled her son Brendan in music lessons at age six. Brendan studied piano for five years before discovering his true passion for the electric bass.

At age 15, Brendan joined the Katy Seven Lakes High School jazz band and began taking private lessons in upright bass and jazz theory. He earned a Bachelor of Music from the University of North Texas and completed a Master of Music at the Eastman School of Music at age 23.

Currently, his jazz trio actively tours New York City and major cities along the East Coast. The trio will also be embarking on a tour across nine major cities in China in fall 2026.
